Guarantees of “Medicina” Clinic ensure the observance of patients’ rights and security of patients. Clinic guarantees are specific obligations for whose performance the Clinic bears material and reputation responsibility. Information about guarantees is publicly available.

During each visit each patient is guaranteed:

1. Medical examination in full compliance with medical standards

You will be offered a full and sufficient range of diagnostic and treatment programs allowing one to make a diagnosis and ensure the high quality of treatment at an interdisciplinary University clinic for adults and children, including a polyclinic, an inpatient section and emergency care. Whilst providing highly qualified medical care in accordance with medical standards the physician should explain what it means for you, personally.

2. Personal supervising physician

We follow the principle put forward by the Academician N.A.Semashko “One patient – one physician”. A supervising physician treats the patient as a family doctor, therapist or pediatrician, controls treatment assigned by other specialists and takes part in treating patients at an inpatient section.

3. Escorting around the Clinic

One of the elements of our customer service style is the escorting of patients. Our employees take you to the required office and help with directions.

4. Lack of lines

We do our best to save your time, which implies specific obligations of the Clinic, namely we guarantee that:

- you will be able to obtain the services you need on the day of your visit, given technical possibilities and your condition;

- you will be able to visit the doctor, undergo assigned diagnostic research required for making a diagnosis and recurrently visit your ailing physician;

- you will not have to wait for the appointment for more than 20 minutes provided that such appointment is made in advance

5. Written recommendations

After the appointment the doctor is obliged to provide you with written recommendations in order to avoid any ambiguity and mistakes in the course of further treatment.

6. Provision of personal access to patient medical records via the Internet

Consultations provided to customers are documented in a reliable electronic medical record system. But the key principle of the Clinic is to provide patients-partners with maximum objective data by all possible and convenient means, including the possibility of access to personal medical records on line via the Personal Cabinet at the Clinic’s site. Such unique openness (both in Russia and abroad) cannot but prove the principle of the priority of patients’ interests.

7. Provision of all research results and videos of surgeries under anesthesia on a CD

The results of diagnostic research carried out with the use of state-of-the-art equipment are recorded on CDs and provided to patients. Moreover, videos of all surgeries under anesthesia are recorded and presented to patients as well. It gives you the opportunity to obtain a second opinion and provide a medical certificate as well as a video of the research itself.

8. Provision of information on medications used

You will be provided with complete information on medications used.

9. Consideration of patients’ enquiries to the Clinic’s administration, with a written response guaranteed

We do recognize that it is you who are final arbiters that evaluate the quality of our services. All your wishes, recommendations and opinions will be taken into consideration; not a single enquiry would remain unattended.

10. Material compensation for unjustified claims or the Clinic’s non-fulfillment of aforementioned guarantees

We guarantee that in case you deal with an unjustified claim or the Clinic fails to fulfil the above mentioned guarantees you can be entitled to a compensation.
