History
JSC "Medicine" (Academician Roitberg Clinic) is one of the oldest private medical institutions in Russia. Starting with a single
reanimobile and several enthusiastic doctors, over a decade and a half, JSC "Medicina" Clinic (Professor Roytberg Clinic) has become one of the leading medical
centers in Russia with its own building, a modern technical base and a large professional team.
1987
The Pulse cooperative was formed, a medical institution providing emergency medical services, which began the history of the clinic.
1990 - 1993
Registration of the Joint Stock Company "Medicine" at the address: Moscow, st. Mosfilmovskaya, 31 A. Moving to the building
of the polyclinic at the address: 2nd Tverskoy-Yamskaya per., 10.
1996 - 1998
Opening of a hospital and an operating unit. Getting started with insurance companies. Start of operation of magnetic resonance
imaging and computed tomography, opening of the Health Center. The Department of Therapy and Family Medicine of the Russian
State Medical University was established on the clinical base of JSC "Medicine" (the clinic of Academician Roitberg).
2000
Completion of the construction of a three-story superstructure of the clinic building, opening of a hospital
and an operating unit on the 9th floor of the clinic, a children's hospital.
2002 - 2003
An electronic medical history has been fully implemented, statistical reporting has been systematized,
and work has begun on its own program "Quality management of medical care." Medical standards have been
added to the Electronic Case History program. The territorial principle of providing medical care has been introduced.
The principle of continuity has been developed and implemented: "one doctor - one patient in a polyclinic and in a hospital".
2008
JSC "Medicine" (Academician Roitberg Clinic) becomes a Full Member of the European Foundation for Quality Management
(EFQM) and confirms the level of "Recognized Excellence" 5 (stars) according to the EFQM Business Excellence Model.
The implementation of the program "Dialogue with the patient" has begun.
2009
JSC "Medicina" Clinic (Professor Roytberg Clinic) was the first in Russia to receive the Diploma "Russian Quality" and the right to use the Sign "Russian Quality"
2011
JSC "Medicina" Clinic (Professor Roytberg Clinic) is the first and so far the only one in Russia to receive accreditation according to the most
reliable international standards of Joint Commission International (JCI) for the provision of medical care. Today,
only 440 hospitals in the world are accredited according to JCI standards.
2012
JSC "Medicina" Clinic (Professor Roytberg Clinic) won the 2012 EFQM Awards at the European Foundation for Quality Management. "Medicine" became
the best private clinic in Moscow - laureate of the Moscow festival in the field of health care "Formula of Life",
organized with the support of the Moscow Government and the Moscow Department of Health, in the category "Non-state
medical organization". Winner of the European quality competition EFQM Awards 2012.
2013
A new medical building of the clinic was opened. The 12-storey building houses the Sofia Cancer Center,
as well as a multidisciplinary hospital and a radionuclide diagnostic center. A sleep center started working in the hospital.
JSC "Medicine" (Clinic of Academician Roitberg) confirmed the compliance of the information security management
system with the requirements of the international standard ISO / IEC 27001: 2005.
2014
The development of such areas as pain center, somnology, oncology, mammology, joint surgery, day hospital for chemotherapy, SPECT, oncostomatology is taking place.

2017
A new computed tomograph (the first in Russia) Revolution CT manufactured by GE Healthcare and a new high-precision PET / CT scanner

the service free of charge and undergo examination on a scanner if they have strict indications.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, JSC “Medicina” continued providing scheduled medical care, performing inpatient surgeries, and treating oncology patients.
The clinic once again passed JCI recertification for quality and patient safety standards, thereby confirming its compliance with these strict international standards for the fourth consecutive time.

2021
Construction was completed on the Institute of Nuclear Medicine in Khimki, a structural subdivision of JSC “Medicina” (Academician Roitberg’s Clinic). The Institute became the largest oncology center in Russia and one of the largest in Europe. It includes a radiotherapy department, radionuclide and radiation diagnostics departments, a radionuclide therapy department, a brachytherapy department, and a cyclotron radiochemistry complex for the production of radiopharmaceuticals.
Equipment upgrades were carried out at the Sofia Oncology Center, and new medical services were introduced in the outpatient department.

Construction began on a cyclotron radiochemistry complex for the production of radiopharmaceuticals.
The clinic underwent a series of recertifications, including a surveillance audit under ISO 9001:2015 and repeated quality control of medical services within the “Russian Quality” program.
JSC “Medicina” was awarded the title “Leader in Quality and Safety of Medical Activities” in the category “Information Technologies in Healthcare.”
