Diagnostic department
The Diagnostic Department of Medicina JSC (Academician Roytberg's Clinic) allows carrying out all the necessary examinations in one building using the most modern equipment. Diagnostics at Medicina JSC (Academician Roytberg's Clinic) is accurate, simple, quick and convenient.
Accurate diagnosis is possible with us thanks to:
- modern digital equipment - computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, X-ray and many other medical devices of the latest generation;
- own analytical laboratory;
- the experience and knowledge of our diagnostic doctors.
We offer the following types of diagnostics:
The centralized clinical diagnostic laboratory of the clinic of JSC "Medicine" allows to conduct a wide range of various studies. With its help, changes can be detected at the cellular and molecular level, even before they manifest themselves with the appearance of symptoms in the patient. This provides a high chance of treatment success and recovery. Early diagnosis is the gold standard in medicine. Indeed, in the overwhelming majority of cases, the earlier the disease is detected, the easier its treatment will be.
Do you want to be examined by an independent clinical diagnostic laboratory? In JSC "Medicine" (the clinic of Academician Roytberg), you can pass almost all tests and get reliable results in a short time. We are ready to offer a number of studies that are not always available in other medical institutions, and the best prices for them. Annual prevention is the best way to maintain your own health and the choice of many people who want to achieve a high life expectancy and quality of life.
Our laboratory is equipped with modern equipment from the best world manufacturers, and the staff is highly qualified, which together ensures high reliability of research results. Quality control of work is constantly carried out by internal and external monitoring carried out by the forces of both Russian and foreign specialists. The clinic participates in various programs to evaluate and improve its methods of work. For the convenience of our clients, both a simple blood test, and a more complex one, can be performed at patients at home, and their results become available to receive both in person and by e-mail within two hours (in case of the patient's consent).
Endoscopy
Endoscopic examinations in our clinic are carried out using equipment from leading world manufacturers. Specialists in the course of performing manipulations also carry out bougienage of strictures, treatment of gastric bleeding, removal of polyps, and taking a biopsy. We carry out all types of endoscopy quickly, carefully, with sedation or anesthesia, psychological preparation of the patient, painlessly and accurately.
Diagnosis of diabetes mellitus
The easiest way to diagnose diabetes is to take a fasting blood glucose test. However, this method allows you to assess the situation only at the time of blood donation, while the glucose level can change significantly over time. Therefore, if diabetes is suspected, we suggest that patients donate blood to determine the concentration of glycosylated hemoglobin. This is by far the most reliable method for finding out the average blood glucose level over the previous 2-3 months.
Hormone Panel
The study of the hormonal panel makes it possible to determine the level of various hormones in the blood, including the thyroid gland, parathyroid hormone, cortisol, sex hormones and others that affect the state of human health and well-being in general.
Doctors
Any research in our clinic is carried out by experienced specialists with the necessary qualifications. They quickly and painlessly perform blood sampling, carry out all the manipulations and provide a high-precision test result in a short time.
JSC "Medicine" (Clinic of Academician Roytberg) has a full range of modern techniques aimed at studying the state of organs and body systems. Using the methods of instrumental diagnostics, it is possible to identify pathological changes even before they manifest themselves as noticeable symptoms.
We are ready to offer various types of instrumental diagnostics used in medical practice.
Ultrasound. With the help of an ultrasound machine, various examinations of patients of any age, including newborn babies and the elderly, are carried out.
Multispiral computed tomography (MSCT). Computed tomography allows you to perform a layer-by-layer examination of organ tissues and determine their pathological changes.
Magnetic resonance therapy. This method is harmless and can be performed without any preparation. It can be used to conduct a number of important studies of children and adults, assessing the state of internal organs, spine, and brain structures.
X-ray radiology. The clinic performs all types of X-ray examinations, including dental ones. The department specializes in diagnostics of the digestive tract and osteoarticular system.
Endoscopy. This method makes it possible to examine the hollow organs of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory system, bladder and others.
Colposcopy. This is an efficient optical system, with the help of which the doctor receives a 30 times magnified image of the mucous tissue. The system allows you to detect pathologies of the vagina and cervix.
Functional - that is, instrumental and laboratory methods - allow you to accurately and quickly assess the patient's condition. All functional methods have a high level of safety and can be repeated many times. Some of them are performed within a day or longer, giving doctors the opportunity to obtain the most accurate and highly informative results. Depending on the field of study, the methods can be divided into three main groups - studies of the cardiovascular system, brain and lungs. Our clinic has the best equipment from world manufacturers for conducting research of all three groups. Many diseases have similar symptoms, so laboratory and instrumental diagnostics are very important, because they allow you to correctly identify the disease.
Special diagnostic methods include those in which radiopaque contrast agents are used. Among these methods are cholegraphy, angiography, urography, radioisotope scanning. For diagnostics, our clinic uses the best innovative reagents that provide the maximum amount of information on the assessment of the patient's disease.
Doctors
The staff of JSC "Medicine" employs experienced specialists who quickly, accurately and as delicately as possible perform the necessary research, evaluate the result obtained, and prescribe effective treatment.
In JSC "Medicina" Clinic (Professor Roytberg Clinic), functional diagnostics is represented by the whole range of modern techniques that allow you to study the state of various organs and systems and identify changes before the development of the disease.
Cardiology
ECG, ECHO-cardiography, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring and Holter ECG monitoring, stress echocardiography with stress tests, including transesophageal stimulation, bicycle ergometry, treadmill.
ECHO cardiography (ultrasound of the heart) is possible at home and in the office using a modern portable ultrasound scanner.
Neurology
Electroencephalography, rheoencephalography, echoencephalography. These methods are used in the study of trauma for the early detection of brain tumors, diagnosis of epilepsy, as well as to identify increased intracranial pressure and assess the state of brain structures. Electroneuromyography is a method for detecting diseases of the peripheral nervous system.
Pulmonology
Bodyplethysmography is the most effective and accurate method for studying the state of the bronchopulmonary system. The method allows to detect the presence of respiratory failure, to establish its type, nature and stage, to trace the dynamics of changes in the state of the bronchopulmonary tree in the process of the development of the disease and to evaluate the treatment result.
X-ray Radiology
All types of X-ray examinations are performed, including dentistry. It should be noted that the department specializes in studies of the osteoarticular system and the digestive system.
Mammography
To determine the pathology of the mammary gland, to identify at an early stage the most dangerous diseases that cannot be determined by a doctor, mammography can. Our mammography machine allows you to significantly (up to 50%) reduce the standard radiation doses during examination.
Densitometry
Densitometry is widely used to find the causes of frequent fractures and to confirm or refute the diagnosis of osteoporosis, as well as to monitor treatment. An X-ray machine with a minimum radiation exposure is installed in JSC "Medicina" Clinic (Professor Roytberg Clinic). This study is necessary for children during the period of bone growth, healthy women and men after 30–35 years (the beginning of the process of bone loss), women with early or artificial menopause.
At JSC "Medicine" (Academician Roitberg's clinic) on an X-ray densitometer, whole body densitometry is performed, which allows you to determine the body mass index and conduct a compositional analysis of the body, revealing tissue percentage, regional tissue, adipose tissue, muscle tissue and bone mineral component.
Multispiral computed tomography (CT)
Layer-by-layer thin-slice scanning of organs with subsequent processing of information and the construction of a volumetric image of an organ allows not only conventional studies, but also the use of rare special techniques: virtual endoscopy (colonoscopy and bronchoscopy), volumetric imaging. SIEMENS Somatom Definition 64 multispiral computed tomography (MSCT) allows doubling the speed of information collection at low radiation exposure to the patient and significantly improves spatial resolution. And the GE Healthcare Revolution CT computed tomograph (512 slices), installed in 2017, allows scanning the heart and blood vessels in just 0.2 seconds - 1 full revolution around the heart (one contraction), which reduces radiation exposure to the body. The images are of the highest quality regardless of the heart rate.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
The most common areas of MRI application: clarification of diseases of various organs, diagnosis of disorders of the osteoarticular system and identification of pathology of brain structures. JSC "Medicine" (clinic of Academician Roitberg) uses state-of-the-art MRI machines with a capacity of 1.5 and 3 Tesla.
The MRI method is harmless, it allows diagnosing diseases in both adults and children.
The clinic conducts research of all organs and systems in various conditions for patients of all ages. In addition to standard examinations, ultrasound examinations of patients with various injuries, diseases of the eyes, joints, as well as during pregnancy at various periods, Doppler studies of blood vessels and 3D / 4D ultrasound are carried out. 3D ultrasound data provide additional information, which is especially important for the diagnosis of certain malformations: face, spinal column, limbs. Ultrasound doctors can come to patients' homes and offices with a portable device.
In addition to the above, the clinic conducts rare and complex studies for children - neurosonography and examination of the thymus gland, research and calculation for ovarian oncology.
Diagnostic studies are performed using state-of-the-art technologies: positron emission and X-ray computed tomography, integrated in one machine (PET / CT), and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) using a BrightView gamma camera.
Positron emission tomography combined with computed tomography (PET / CT) is a very effective method for early preclinical diagnosis of oncological diseases. Computed tomography integrated with PET allows you to link the localization of the isotope to a specific anatomical region of the human body.
SPECT technology is used in oncology, cardiology, neurology, urology, pulmonology, in the diagnosis of brain neoplasms, malignant tumors of the breast, liver, and skeletal diseases. This state-of-the-art technology is ideal for tumor imaging applications such as patients with metastatic breast or prostate cancer, primary bone cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, parathyroid adenomas, neuromas, liver cancer, neuroblastomas or multiple myelomas. In addition, SPECT technology improves the accuracy of dosimetric calculations when planning radioisotope therapy and following up the patient.
