Plasmolifting or plasma therapy procedure in dentistry

Plasmolifting or plasma therapy in dentistry is an innovative method of treating gingivitis and periodontitis, based on the injection of the patient's own blood plasma into the soft tissue of the gums.

By improving the microcirculation of blood in the tissues of the gums, the stimulation of regenerative processes in the tissues of the periodontium is achieved.

After the plasmolifting procedure:

  • hyperemia (redness), swelling and bleeding of the gums go away;

  • pain is relieved;

  • itching and bad breath disappear;

  • reduced tooth mobility.
