Medicine as an art. Little patients of JSC "Medicine" conduct the orchestra "Virtuosi of Moscow"

On February 2, 2019, a music lesson was held for young patients and their parents in one of the leading private clinics in Moscow, Medicina JSC (Academician Roytberg's clinic). It was conducted by the kindest children's music professor Violetta Modestovna.

A fun lesson was held in the form of an interactive concert, at which Violetta Modestovna introduced the audience to the wonderful music of various genres, written by famous classical composers, with the instruments on which this music is performed. An ensemble of soloists of the Moscow Virtuosi orchestra helped Violetta Modestovna to conduct a fun music lesson.

Little patients conducted a quartet, performed favorite melodies from P.I. Tchaikovsky, sang along and even danced. It was fun for everyone: both children and parents. For the lesson, everyone got A's.

“We are glad to see our little patients so happy,” says the chief physician of the 2nd clinical department of JSC “Medicine”, Ph.D., associate professor Zhanna Dorosh. ̶ Usually babies come to us to get vaccinated, donate blood for analysis, massage, visit a doctor. For children, these are not very pleasant occasions, although we do our best so that they are not bored in our clinic. In the lobby of the pediatric department, there are various slot machines, a table for artistic creation, a kitchen for little housewives, and cars for motorists. Children play with pleasure, then it is difficult for parents to tear the child away from the lesson and bring the child into the office to a specialist or take him home. "

Children's Music Professor Violetta Modestovna - resident of the Moscow International House of Music, Honored Artist of Russia Svetlana Stepchenko, concertmaster of the viola group of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia conducted by Vladimir Spivakov. Characters of cartoons and feature films sing and speak in the voice of Svetlana Stepchenko.

The music was performed with Svetlana Stepchenko:

  • Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Yegor Tsai - violin,

  • Denis Shulgin - violin,

  • Alexander Nepomniachtchi - viola.
