Computed tomography of the chest
Computed tomography (CT) of the chest — is a highly informative and simple method of layer-by-layer visualization of the structure of organs in a given area and tracking pathologies at various stages. The survey can produce a volumetric model or set of high-resolution 2D images of an area less than a millimeter thick. The method is irreplaceable for detecting injuries, tumors, hemorrhages, etc.
Contrast is used to enhance visualization in CT scans of the chest. The component is administered in a small dose intravenously and is evenly distributed over the tissues. It allows studying the blood supply to organs, assessing the patency of the vessels, and, in the presence of a neoplasm, accurately determining the location of the pathological focus.
Pictures and decryption for them can be obtained in an hour.
