- fresh bread, pastries;
- any kind of rye bread;
- any legumes;
- fresh milk.
The degree of preparation depends on the individual characteristics of the patient. Overweight people with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract should prepare more carefully. They are recommended to start taking enterosorbents (activated carbon, mezim) 5 days before the study. These drugs reduce the signs of flatulence in the intestines.
People who suffer from regular bloating should follow a stricter diet. They are forbidden to eat all raw vegetables and fruits and cabbage varieties, any flour products, legumes, including canned ones. The ultrasound procedure itself is performed on an empty stomach. It is forbidden to have a hearty supper the night before. If you are taking any medication, then you must inform the doctor in advance.
